Created with Magic legends Penn & Teller, Mischief conjure up an evening of grand illusion.
In the next 'Goes Wrong' comedy to hit the West End, the original Mischief company play a hapless gang of magicians presenting a charity event .
As the accidents spiral out of control, so does their fundraising target!
Written by Penn Jillette, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Henry Shields and Teller.
The play opened in the Quays Theatre at The Lowry, Salford from 6 to 11 August 2019, prior to its opening in London's West End at the Vaudeville Theatre, initally from 14 December 2019 to 31 May 2020, the show has recently announced extension until 2 May 2021.
Original cast include Bryony Corrigan as Spitzamus, Roxy Faridany as Eugenia, Dave Hearn as The Blade, Henry Lewis as Mind Mangler, Jonathan Sayer as Mickey, Henry Shields as Sophisticato and Nancy Zamit as Bear.
Magic Goes Wrong opened to critcal acclaim with 5 stars from The Sun and 4 stars from all other leading national newspapers. The play has since been nominated for Noel Coward Award for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play in the 2020 Laurence Olivier Awards.
